This landmark partnership includes the establishment of the ‘Tamil Nadu AI Labs’ in Chennai, setting the stage for a new era of technological advancement. The collaboration, solidified through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California, highlights the government’s commitment to AI-driven growth during Chief Minister MK Stalin’s US visit.

Beyond this, the Tamil Nadu government has also secured five additional MoUs with global giants like Nokia, PayPal, and Infinix to establish research and development centres in cities such as Chennai, Madurai, and Coimbatore.
